Piccle Start-Up!

With this Piccle forum, we will be able to develop discussions about language and literacy and how they affect our lives. Reference the directions for how to get started, and then click on the link below.

1) Open up a second browser for "zellerenglish.blogspot.com" so that you can follow these steps

2) Click on this link:   Link to Piccle - Click on Me : )

3) Click on “Create new account” on upper right side

4) Enter information

5) Open up your email

6) Open up email from Rusty Myers about PICCLE and click on the link to confirm

7) Click on “Courses”

8) Scroll down to “Exploring Language and Literacy: Overbrook HS”

9) Enter the enrollment key: explore

10) Welcome – Read the directions and respond to the prompts

What is that giant statue when we enter Overbrook?

The main entrance to Overbrook HS has a great replica sculpture of The Nike of Samothrace.  The Nike is the Greek Goddess of Victory.  The original sculpture (pictured below) is currently located in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.  Click on this link to read more about it: Nike of Samothrace
