Objective: Students will set their own goal from the unit and identify cultural themes from the poems.
Class Activities: Setting Goals, Asking Questions, and analyzing cultural themes.
Homework: Being a “fish in water” means that you are not critically aware of your surroundings. Write a poem or short story about a fish being taken out of water and then going back in. What does the fish experience and see?
