2) Click on “Discussion” and enter the the forum for “November 3rd - Class Wiki Discussion.”

3) Follow the prompts participate in the conversation.

 College Exploration Research Agenda:

1) Before you leave this class, you should have your introduction finished for this essay. Either type it in a new googledoc OR write it down on paper: in the form you will complete this essay for class. The College Exploration Essay is due as a class grade next Thursday, November 10th.

2) Preview the criteria for the College Exploration Essay. Think about your career and what level of education you need to pursue.

3) Use the College and University reference sheet to explore different colleges and make a selection of the top three. (Do not limit yourself to this list.)

4) If there is an opportunity to “Request Information” from the college website, DO IT! They will send you information about the school and it shows that you are interested.

5) Write down your top three selections in the form of the introduction paragraph described for this essay.

College Exploration Essay - Senior Project

This will be a five-paragraph essay in which you discuss three colleges/trade schools that you might consider attending after Overbrook.

I. Introduction:
Introduce the three post-secondary institutions you are interested in. Include the type of institution it is (trade school, college or university). Explain why you want to pursue that level of education.

II. Body Paragraphs:
Give a brief synopsis of each college – Where is it located? How many students does it have, and who are these students (demographics)? How much does it cost to attend? Also include what appeals to you about each college.

III. Conclusion
Conclude with and explanation of your number one choice for post-secondary education and why it is your favorite.
